The Betty dress, part II

This is my second go at making a sew over it Betty Dress. I went to the spring knitting & stitching show a few weeks ago and snapped up this fabric at a good price knowing it would be the perfect to make another betty dress with. I think it may be the perfect summer dress so I can't wait for it to start getting a bit warmer!

I also tried something different when making this dress. I'm not sure what most people do when approaching sewing projects (comments and suggestions welcome!) but normally I like to go full on at it for an afternoon/day and do everything, cut, pin, sew (repeat) until it's complete. This week though I didn't have time for that so I divided it up over a few evenings and this morning - I must say it made it much more relaxing! Think it might need to be my new approach!
