merchant & mills camber set dress

Have you heard of Merchant & Mills? I hadn't till just over a year ago when my parents gifted me the most beautiful dress pattern. They had been to the real life store and when they bought a house in the same town, Rye, I had the privilege of visiting it! It's filled with so many beautiful things. On my most recent visit I had decided I was going to purchase a pattern and fabric (a right treat for me!) and make myself a dress. What I liked about going to the store was that you could try on the different patterns before making a decision, something I was very thankful for as the original one I had in mind  did not look quite as good on me as it would on another and so I selected the camber set dress

The instructions were beautiful and easy to follow and I was relieved when I managed to create it in an afternoon. I've been thoroughly enjoying it now that I'm back to school as well, it's comfortable yet smart enough for work! I used the Blackwatch Linen (I love a bit of tartan!). I've tried to beautify the mirror selfie I've taken of it using the a beautiful mess app. I think it makes taking a selfie a little better...

I also got Matt to take some better photos when he got home,  I'm super pleased with the neckline in particular, reckon I nailed it!
