half wrap and gardening

This weekend was fantastically spring-like, so I thought it was about time I started to sort out the garden properly. I've got seeds sew, compost turned and a giant to do list as my grandad has agreed I can have a patch in his garden to grow things (pumpkin patch?). We're eating the last of the cabbage for dinner this evening too. I've also finished the first half of my tartan wrap I'm looking forward to finishing the other half, blocking it, sewing it together and wearing it! I'm not looking forward to weaving the ends in though - this must surely be the least enjoyable part of knitting.

Our neighbours gave us another pumpkin so I'm going to make pumpkin soup this week, although I'm tempted to do this just because it looks amazing.
