amazing charity shop finds...

Me and Matt wandered around Dorking yesterday and I made some fantastic finds in the charity shop, a knitting machine and a whole load of old patterns and I even got change from my tenner! The knitting machine is fairly basic but it appears to have all it's parts and rather helpfully still has the original instruction booklet. Todays task:make it work!

I am always tempted by knitting machines in charity shops. Probably just as well they are usually too big for me to carry home! Can't wait to see what you do with yours :)

so far i've worked out how to cast on and knitted a few rows! haha.

I can't imagine it being more basic than this one? unless it wasn't one with a needle bed like that? This one is super basic - you have to lay the yarn over (more modern ones feed the yarn across for you!) and move the needles back and forward yourself! wooo!
