knit one, purl one: pictures!

Alison from the Touchstones gallery was wonderful enough to send me some photos over from the show! Unfortunatly I don't think I'm going to get a chance to get up to see the exhibition! Here's my ducks - They are situated on the staircase that leads up to the show...

The other work in the show is incredible - here's a shot of Anita Bruce's work, I don't think photos can do it justice, I was lucky enough to see her work close up at the I knit weekender last September

I love this jumper by Karl Christian Geleff I think this is due to my current love affair for knitting actual garments in my 'free' time. My own interpretation of it is that it's suggesting that these everyday objects are art in some sense, the skill, creativity etc is evident in just a jumper. That's how I like to read it anyway, perhaps I'm completely off the mark...

The exhibition is on till July 4th 2010, so if your in the area and get a chance to pop in, I think it looks like it'll be worth it, without meaning that in a biased 'because my work is in it way' check out the other people! Their work looks stunning! In no particular order, heres some links to the other artists showcasing their wonderful knitting/crochet pieces:
